We believe that whanau have a crucial role in shaping the educational pathways for their children.

The learning that occurs at school is only part of all the learning that happens during a child's lifetime.  

The school team needs to work in partnership with parents/caregivers to ensure that school programmes are individual, relevant and are focused on enhancing each child and family's quality of life. 

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the school which is ultimately responsible for the total operation of the school including the employment of staff.

The Board is composed of elected parent representatives as well as the Principal and staff representative. Other members may be co-opted or appointed as necessary.

Family Fun

We value oppoprtunities to involve  familes at school. 

Regular events such as the annual Family ev ening, monthly assemblies, Friday cultural afternoons, end of year concert, open mornings, formal meetings to develop educational programmes.

These all help to consolidate school and whanau partnerships.
