Sir Keith Park School
The students are the focal point of our school. They come from a range of ethnic groups, providing the school with a rich ethnic diversity that is representative of the local community.
Our students are young people who have intellectual impairment, communication and hearing disorders; visual impairments, physical impairments; and / or multiple, complex disabilities. Most students are verified under the Ongoing and Reviewable Resourcing scheme (ORRS).
We are situated in Mangere, a suburb of Manukau City, Auckland, New Zealand. Due to the close proximity of the airport, schools in the local area all have names associated with aviation. Our school is named after Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park in recognition of his charitable work. Our school emblem, the hawk, also represents flight.
